Well, I do not believe that the FF&C clause empowers the US to force Virginia to recognize homosexual marriages. It kind of seems like a 14th "Amendment" argument would be more consistent ... they could just say that the 14th requires that we be "gender blind". I doubt if anybody would know any better. Or maybe they could say that we need homosexual marriage for the sake of interstate commerce. But of course it's all lies and I will not pretend to respect them.
I don't reconcile Brown, I consider it to be unconstitutional legislation from the bench. And I don't believe that the Constitution delegates the US jurisdiction over "privacy". I am unable to reconcile our US government and our US Constitution.
