Vld seating stem le wilson

Has anyone replaced their seating stem on their le wilson chamber seating die. The swap is 24 bucks and if I was at my parents I might just try and make one. Hoping to get a better fit on 155 scanars and also a good fit on 175smk s.

I use them on 155 scenars, no problems

The original or vld? The original is giving me a shiny ring, no real deformation.

I use the VLD stem on all the Wilson seaters. I figure there’s no down side but maybe I’m wrong.

I replace stems when they first came out and got VLD for case trimmer. As long as seating depth is same on bullets you want to use it's great other wise you have to adjust stem. That is downs side.
