this is a silly question but im curious

are the buffer tubes from Vltor numbered on the top?

im looking at buying an Emod milspec tube kit and was just curious

I have a colt 6920 with 4 position tube and I want to replace it and the superstoc that came with it with the Vltor 6 position and just wanted to know if it had the positions labeled like some other companies have been doing lately

The receiver extension that came with my emod was numbered on top.

thanks guys either way it wasnt a deal breaker but i was curious so I had to ask

has anyone had issue with the emod being longer than the normal carbine stock?

I know the A5 is even longer so I dont want that

Unless you shoot with the stock fully collapsed you well not notice the extra length of the A5 Vltor. What you do notice with the longer A5's RE is a softer recoil and smoother and quieter operation.

You can use any mil-spec diameter collapsible stock on the A5 RE it just wont collapse all the way, it's a 1/2 inch longer RE.

I have the emod stock on my AR. As stated , the numbers are on top. The only draw back to this stock is, if you have a beard , the number holes pull out hairs " ouch":what:
