My brother bought one for his Mossberg 30.06. Im happy he's upgrading from the big box store scopes. He's going to a club this weekend with a 300 yard range.
I just bought a Crossfire II 6-18x44 for a 223 AR. It was an upgrade from not having a scope on it at all.
It was only about $115 shipped to my door. It has held zero for about 40 rounds and a few weeks bouncing around in my truck.
I might get another for one of my 22lr's
I have one on my Howa currently, but it’s on its way to another gun. Been quite accurate and survived the brush during hunting season. It’s in a leupold 2 piece mount set.
Good choice, I just put one on my American Predator. 308 and moved the Burris FF 2 3-9x40 , that was on it to my CVA Optima. I don't usually move scopes around much,, but the 4-12x44 made more sense on the .308 than the Optima .
I had one and it survived a fall onto concrete, cushioning the gun it was mounted on. It held zero but I sold that rifle and gave the scope to a grandson. He got a deer with it this year.
