Vortex Moving all Production to China?

I read about it on 24 Hour Campfire. Has anyone here heard the rumor and if so do you think there's any truth to it?

Thank you, I never would have thought of that. But if I were to contact Vortex I'd call them.

i think that would be a bad move as i think they will lose customers if true. eastbank.

I hope not, as I'm interested in a couple of Optics from them that are currently sourced from Japan. If they go to China they'll never sell me anything more. They're welcome to do that on their lower end stuff I have no interest in anyway, but for premium offerings I I have no interest in anything outside of US, Japanese or European origin.

Don't know who peed in your wheaties. Today is Sunday, can't contact Vortex. I did do some surfing and couldn't find anything to back up the claim so I was curious what others have heard. I quite often take what I read on the internet with a grain of salt, it would be foolish not to. You on the other hand are trying to pick a fight for no discernible reason.

Be interesting to find out. I've never had a Vortex but a lot of guys here are fans. Shame if they did the China thing.
