Vortex Viper HD Binoculars

I have been looking around for a pair of good hunting binoculars. I had my mind set on a pair of Nikon ATB and was going into Cabellas to buy them. The Vortex binoculars caught my eye and I asked about them. The price is 300 more than the nikons, but once I looked through them, I was amazed. I compared a pair of Swarovski to them and they held there own and they are 1500 cheaper!


I decided to save more money and buy the Vortex at the end of the month.

They run around 599, but have a lifetime no fault warranty.

Anyone have experience? Convince me not to buy.

i've been using a pair of the vulture HD for over a year. they are AWESOME glass. as good as the swaros I have.

I have two Vortex binoculars and like them very much. They are the Fury 6.5x32 and the Viper 8x28. The Fury's are now discontinued, but I really like them for prairie dogs. Huge field of view. Actually like them better than my Leupold golden ring ones.

Also very happy with their 2-7 Viper scope.
