I actually ran across those already, but it's an entirely different graphic than the one on the shirt shown originally. Not as sharp IMHO.

This is a GREAT way to remind folks who are sitting on the fence regarding gun control that we're just a buncha violent folks with high powered rifles just waiting to snap, so that we can shoot them. They'd better take the guns away FAST!

I mean, the possiblity of armed revolt is THERE, okay? But we don't have to scare the hell outta Joe Urbanite about it.

You can get his e-mail address without registering. Just look at the typical "PM" "Quote" and "E-mail" buttons to common on message boards. His name is Scott, I-emailed him, seems like a cool guy.
 
As was mentioned in the thread on the florida forum, this isn't exactly the best choice of attire for attending church, or going to a parent-teacher conference.

However, it'd be a great range-day shirt, or something to wear when hanging out with good friends.


Anyone who can't appreciate the lesson and/or humour of a phrase on a T-shirt is a person I pity.

As mentioned there are other ways to contact him. Scott is a good honest man. He does get very busy with work though. So if it takes some time for him to respond to you don't get upset. He just has a lot of stuff to do one of those things is helping keep a gun range website operating and the range itself.
 
The plain black one with the white lettering and rifle is the best... however... this can only make us look bad.
 
I like the shirt and might get one, but I've gotta agree that this can make us look like nuts. I googled 'vote from the rooftops' and the second and third links were some VPC article about how afraid they are of the big evil .50 cals. (the first link was a THR thread :D )
 
Witty, but a message that makes us 'Gun Nuts' look terrible. Not a message I'd want to broadcast in this day and age.
 
Anyone that thinks that this makes gun owners look bad needs to pick up a history book. If countries around the world would take notes we would be a lot better off. Many tyrants with political backing oppress the majority of the poor in countries across the world and the US troops have to go in and clean up the mess.

Guys, this shirt was once applicable to the US and it is still applicable to many countries abroad. It doesn't promote domestic terrorism! It is a shirt that makes people think. A history lesson on a bumper sticker, if you will...

Admittedly, I do find the wording of the message almost too edgy, but to be comparing it with anything involving the Ku Klux Klan is just completely beyond the pale. I am trying to take The High Road here, but with every word I type it's just getting more difficult, and so with that I will stop.

I was talking to my Mom today as I fixed her computer. I said (in the course of conversation) that the 2nd was to defend against a corrupt government. I said that the people have the right to take up arms to fight back as our forefathers did.
She said Shush, don't talk like that, they'll come after you.
1st, and 2nd, just like that.

If I am not on "their" list I am not doing enough.

Bogie that's a cheap shot, I don't think there are any members here who would say that, and I hope you edit your post and remove it. Imo that's a cowardly straw-man argument you put up.

Furthermore, real-word proves that it is actually the LEFTISTS that espouse such remarks. There have been two cases in one year in Canada where Liberals talk about offing the PM. God knows how many Democrats have been busted for the same thing, but you can bet it's a lot more than Republicans.

So think about it - they don't HAVE to make sense, they're Liberals they don't need logic. They can be for gun bans and against tyranny at the same time. They're clinically insane, if you try to appease them you'll go insane too.




PCOSMAR I'd be worried that if there was some reason you had to go to court it would play against you, sort of like if you had targets with a politician's face on them. Not really wrong, but if you get caught up in something they could really make you look worse in a hurry.

But then again, in Canada the police can request to search your house if you have more than 10 firearms, for safe storage.


I'm afraid to say it, but in the climate today, for me, the shirt might be something better left unsaid.

I have done time for my own crime( My stupidity,in my youth) I have also been arrested and jailed for NO crime at all.
I am 50yrs old and way past fear. I am getting angry. (at the loss of America)

Yeah, that's great. Isolate 75% of the voting block (northerners). All that shirt + that statement do is make people think that all gun owners are violent and angry southerners.
 
2nd Ammendment

Yes we have the right to Keep and Bare arms.
But Don't think for a minute that you, or a bunch of us can change the government by threats of weapons use. Have you seen the Tech used in Afganistan and Irac! A rag-tag group, arguing over the best weapon, would have no chance at smelling the smoke that would take the group out. The only reasonable way to change is through the vote, personal calls and conversations with legislators, and standing for your beliefs where ever. I own my weapons for use, and to let people know my attitude about the second ammendment. If I or Mine are threatened, or we slip into anarchy, or looting riots, "don't mess with Texas", OR ME! The true reasonable way to get your views accross is to Register, Vote, Partake of the processes,ie Coventions etc. Get involved without blatent insult. Thats what the Antigun, anti hunters, Anti............? have done over the years, and we were still arguing about the most potent handgun/Best game rifle/most accurate firearm.
