Voyagers By Cold Steel

Since when did cold steel discontinue the Voyager series? I always liked my little 3 inch and was just checking to see what factory price for a 4 inch was and it said discontinued!!! Of all the cold steel blades even people that dident care for Lynn Thompson's marketing strategy liked the voyager series

Look at the X2 voyager. Looks like they mixed the voyager and the vaquero togather to make a new knife.

They will be back next year I hear. Better steel, and much stronger lock and handle construction. The addition of a more pronounced finger guard is also a good thing. Only downside is the largest one will be a little over 5 inches, no more 6 incher I hear.

Sounds pleasant but knowing cold steel they will use san mai III or a similiar steel putting them higher in the price bracket. Same holds true even if they use 154CM or S30V. VG-1 was (is) a fine steel.
