With the price of a good double barrel being 5-10 times what your average AR costs, will there be a stimulus plan to help out those unable to protect themselves?

Wow, how do you define "good double barrel"? I very recently picked up a previously owned Fox (Savage Arms) SxS 12 ga in very nice condition and the price was a mere $500 or thereabouts. That would easily fall within the VP's recommendation for HD and is less than an AR.

I'm still more likely to use one of my Rem 870's.
