Vulcan Group Inc. has in the past and will continue to offer service on its products for a period of one year from the date of purchase by the original purchaser for defects in materials and workmanship
Emphasis added. That is another kicker with their so-called warranty statement. There was post on another forum a while back (this may have regarded Century, which at one time had a very similar statement and may still do) about a guy that acquired a rifle that had been sitting on the shelf for about 12 months. When the gun broke, it was about 13 months after the dealer had initially acquired it, so he was SOL by the manufacturer's definition of "original purchaser". That would be like a new car warranty starting from the date the dealer acquired the vehicle.
You hear CS complaints regarding Ruger, Glock and others too, but they are definitely the exception.
