THE MORE YOU HATE THIS, THE MORE YOU SHOULD STOP BUYING ON AMAZON

They are not filling those 70,000 cubicles in Seattle with gun friendly voters

The Seattle Times, which used to be a pretty good newspaper but is now just another leftist rag sheet, is pushing this proposal as hard as they can. Their anti-gun articles run for weeks at a time. I expect they will be pushing this one, big time. And of course, their brainwashed readers will be eating it up with a shovel.

The Seattle Times has never been a good news paper.
As long as I can remember they have been a liberal mouth piece.
You can bet all the Wet side California transplants and home grown idiots will be pushing this hard.
I hate Seattle.

Western WA has largely become Northern California at this point. Heck, the entire west coast has. While I'm not a massive personal supporter, our only hope against this Liberal onslaught is a Trump Presidency. Not only will it kick dirt in the faces of people dead set on our obedience, it will put the nail in the coffin of "political correctness", a term and manner that has lead to racism, widespread lies and a complete disregard of Freedom Of Speech.

Sadly, Reagan could roll out of his grave and be President again, it wouldn't make any difference here in WA. The only good news is the state constitution is proactively 2A.

We'll see I guess.

Chicago seems to have racked up a new murder record this year, wonder how many assault rifles were used...

Seattle IS the problem.

WA is more culturally divided East to West of the Cascades than Northern California "Jefferson State" to Southern California.

I totally agree this election state and federal is so very important we need to
get the vote out

Jackal: You might already know that even Denver CO has been "colonized" by Left Coast transplants.

This anti-gun syndrome out west reminds me of a more subtle, insidious version of "Invasion of the Body (Gun) Snatchers".
In WA and Denver, marijuana plants might be the New Pod...altered, correct group thinking and little dissent.

Every time I read how someone from the PNW denigrates people moving up there from CA, assuming they're all "liberal transplants", I think of the conservative people I've known who moved there from here.

I remember when I lived in Medford for almost a year, back at the end of the 70's, and you could see billboards around town stating "Don't Californicate Oregon" ... except when you talked to a lot of people, it was seemingly a lot of CA retiree's who were bringing much of the local money into the economy, and much of the local PD & SO were transplanted CA cops looking for a better place to live and work.

Now, if a liberal politician moves from CA to the PNW, and finds fertile ground in the local voter demographics (who aren't "liberal transplants"), how is that the fault of CA? :scrutiny:

CA has been sending a lot of retirees who can't be painted with the "liberal transplant" brush stroke to the PNW, and even younger people looking for a better life, with more affordable cost-of-living than can be found in much of CA.

You folks don't think that the PNW "territories" originally had indigenous conservative, non-Native American populations without people from other states and territories migrating there, do you? ;) :neener:

Look at the huge number of workers being attracted there, and wonder if your boon in some industries (and companies) may not be a mixed blessing, of sorts, and may be the actual reason you're attracting people who may have different backgrounds and social/political views than those born there (or who moved there, but would rather other people forget they weren't actually born there ;) ).

True. For the record, I moved up here from California (1994). I am most decidedly not a liberal anti-gun person.

I know a whole lotta conservative gun-owners who moved up here because of this state's gun laws -- and the mostly from California!

I don't see a ban being passed by the legislature. The AG's move is simply to set up a ballot Initiative next Fall, which I see a 50/50 chance of passing. Education of the electorate will be key in defeating it.

I have two neighbors who moved up here from CA. to avoid paying the taxes on their retirements. Neither one of them are conservatives or gun owners, both AG. Coincidence, probably not. I don't live anywhere near Seattle either. I've known lots of people who have moved here from CA in the last 30 years. Honestly, can't remember any of them to be conservative gun owners, except one.

Just my experience.

I love all the Kali blaming; the state's been run by gun hating salmon-heads on the coast since well before the 1990s when I was living there

It seems that playing the blame game is a national pastime.

The amount of CA transplants make up such a small percentage of the voter base that its laughable to blame them.

To not understand that it's the politicians that are proposing the laws, not CA transplants, makes it even more hilarious.

It's time people take a look in the mirror instead of blaming the tiny percentage of out of state transplants for the failures of your own state.
