I obtained a WA state license to carry a concealed pistol when my official residence was in VA. Accordingly, the license shows a residential address in Virginia. I have now moved to WA and have obtained a WA driver's license. Does anyone know if I need to obtain a new CPL with an updated residential address? Do I need to notify the issuing police department (Bellevue)?

As a possible Oregon to Washington transplant, I had to research this issue. The answer is no.

However, if you're a Washington resident and you have an out of state address on your license, you license may not be valid in the state of Michigan. It only costs $15 for a newly issued permit replacement, and you can contact the Bellevue PD or the King County Sheriffs to get a new CPL.
