Sitting in front of me is a very neglected rifle marked "WAFFENWERKE BRUNN AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT" chambered 7x64.

There are some marking stamps followed with 43.

I've searched the net with few results similar to the rifle I have here.

All show the standard mauser 7x57. This one is 7x64, has duel triggers, the "european" stock, and the bolt handle itself slim. In fact the entire rifle I would describe as slim.

The best I could get was it is an old CZ?

Sounds to me like a Prague built mauser, maybe a CZ. Do you have a picture? I might be able to help as I live in Germany and hunt with very knowledgeble Germans in variants, etc. That's a good caliber, by the way, and very popular over here. The Germans like that in bolt actions, and the rimmed version for Drillings which are called 7 x 65R ("R" for rimmed).

The 7x64 cartridge is very similar to the 280 Remington, which is basically a 30'06 necked down to .284 diameter.
Barrels for the 7x64 round can be found on Gunbroker.com at times.

Like many of the posts looking to identify a particular firearm, pictures can often make a difference. You need to go to the advanced feature to post a picture.
