I cant hold on anymore. Doing the Form 1 SBR thing. My check was cashed on 8-9-10 (2 weeks after they received my package). I am using the trust route. Not the Quicken willmaker but had a lawyer who specializes in NFA trusts draw me one up.

If there was a problem would I have been notified by now? What are the current lead times? Is there a number to call? If so what info do I need in my hand when I call?

I've built and rebuilt this gun 100 times over in my head. I guess I'm just jealous of everyone elses 3 months.

Anyone else want to share their timeline(s)?

In the last few years my wait times have been 6weeks (fastest) and 11 months (longest) no problems on any of the transfers. Sometimes it just takes more time.

I submitted a Form 1 (SBR build through a trust) back in April, and got it back approved in October. If yours has only been in since August, I wouldn't get worried yet. I do totally understand the impatience, though.

Form 4 in 05 approx 60 days
Form 1 in 10 approx 60 days

Once Christmas is done sucking my money up I'll send off another form 1.

I sent in a form 4 for a Short shotgun in April, it took just a couple of days under three months. I hadn't done a form since about '85, so I had expected to wait a bit longer. I think a lot of it boils down to how many forms are in the que when yours shows up. Good toys are worth waiting for..........

Most recent transfer was an outgoing F4 to another fellow here in MT, it took nearly seven weeks mailbox to mailbox. Not bad, considering. Just hang in there. :)

Oh happy day!!!!! It came today. The sad thing is I am broke. I need to get it engraved. The good news is I found a local trophy shop that does it. I may get the whole side of the magwell done while I'm there. I happen to share last names with a famous pirate with an awesome Jolly Roger.

The cool thing is my DMish AR is consecutively serial numbered. So I will have a true shorty and then a reach out there numbered together.

Holy smokes less than 2 months is quick. I've been waiting just under 3 months now for my Form 1 filed as an individual and i'm not holding my breath that it will be here anytime soon.

Two Form 1's clocked in at 113 days earlier this year. I have a form 4 out pending now for 60 days.
