Wal Mart again..........

I stopped at Wally World today. Asked the nice white haired lady behind the counter for "two boxes of WWB 100 round pack, FMJ". She turned around, then said "Did you say Hollow Point or Full Metal Jacket?" I said, "Full metal jacket." She pulled them out, and said "here you go." I asked to see a couple of 22's. She knew what I was talking about, and even knew a bit about them herself. She's a pleasure to do business with.

Walmart or Kmart?

This might be funny if it weren't true. To this day, recalling that event gets me a little ticked. This pimple faced kid fresh out of high school was starting his first summer job in ... well ... Walmart sporting goods of all places. I told him I needed 3 boxes .223 ammo in 55 grain. He pulls out .22 WMR and sets it on the counter. I again specified "223". He went back to the case behind him and got the right stuff, rang up the merchandise, but the dip included the .22 on the purchase too. I told him I had no need for that ammunition right now, so he had to call the manager to remove that item from the sale. Five minutes went by ... ten minutes ... fifteen ... still no pimple faced dip or manager in sight. I went to the next department for assistance. The manager and kid finally show up twenty minutes later to take care of business. For a split moment I thought I was in Kmart.

Never again! I'm going to gunshops for now on.
