Used MOSSY 590 lookin back at me. Like new, 20 in., heavy barrel, parked, Ghost Ring sights, and even M16 (forgot type) bayonet. $325, couldn't pass it up. Just the thing for home defense (If your home is a trench) But I'm a sucker for this stuff

Yep, there's nothing more intimidating than a polished shotgun muzzle with a fixed bayonet. Polished muzzles look a whole lot bigger than they are. They bayonet scares everybody. Even the short ones.

The Mossberg 590a1 is Parkerized!

Only thing I bought at the last local gun show was (finally!) an M9 bayonet for my 590A1. I've had the gun for 4 years and it was just gnawing at me that it wasn't "complete".

One of the things i'm looking at picking up sometime is one of the new M10 bayonets, as they're actually useful as a utility/camp/fighting knife.

Iam still undecided as to whether or not to put a bayonet lug on my 500.
