Now I know I am a knife addict. I was out grabbing a couple small items in sporting goods today. Last minute shopping for when my son and I go out for an overniter with his Cub Scout troop tonight
Then I saw the tins, two to choose from one for $20 and one for $10. No Buck tins were out.
I grabbed the $10, just because that is $3.33 per knife, and I couldn't resist.:banghead:
Made in China,of course, some kinda stainless (not marked). The lockback and pen are gritty and some side to side blade play. The pen has good spring snap and the lockback actually locks in place. I'll give these to my kids.
The fixed blade seems to be decent.A 2 1/2 " blade with a 3 1/2" handle and full tang. A few passes on fine ceramic rods and it is taking hair off my arm. I think it will make a good tiny beater.
I am going to take it with me on our outing tonight. If it survives making hot dog sticks I might pick up a couple more tins just for this fixed blade.
