HAS ANYONE HEARD ABOUT THIS?
OUR STORE IS ALREADY CLOSING THE GUN RELATED PART OF THE STORE!!
SOMTHING ABOUT THEIR LICENSE.:(::confused:

Walmarts here in South Florida have done away with their gun business for several years. It had nothing to do with licenses, but rather was more PC since we're a Dem stronghold in Florida.

Stop yelling!

As I understand it some Wallmarts are ditching guns based on market conditions i.e. those Wallmarts are not selling enough guns to make it worth it.

Many Wallmarts recently upgraded their gun counters from a single small display case in sporting goods to a full counter.

Wal Mart as a whole is not ceasing the sale of guns. Your local store is no longer selling them because they don't sell enough to warrant the shelf space devoted to them. It's pure economics, not politics. Other Wal Marts in areas that do sell lots of guns, still carry them and will continue to do so. This thread appears on THR every month or so with a different Wal Mart in a different state.

The upsurge in stores like Gander Mountain, Cabela's, Dicks, and especially the internet have made it not good business to keep stocking guns at Wal Mart.

And typing in all CAPS on the internet is considered yelling, and just as rude if it were done in real life.

Other than that, Welcome to THR :)

B.357,

Did you do a search for this? There have to be at least 10 different threads with an almost identical title.

I'd suggest you read through the older threads to find your answer. If they don't answer your question, you could post it to one of those threads first. Then, if nobody answers, you could post a new topic.

Welcome aboard!

Our current Wal Mart has just added a firearm section and the new one they just completed building a mile away also has a firearm section.

Remember, the REAL south Florida is north of Miami.

...Nplant beat me to it.

I'm not normally a use the search feature NAZI but:

GEEZ freakin' LOUIZE!

This horse has been beaten to an unrecognizable bloody pulp so far gone that even the worms and flies can't recognize it as something useful.

Actually, its because George Soros and Bill Gates secretly bought controlling interest in Walmart last November and are just now getting around to turning them into a completely anti-gun establishment. Once all their changes are in place, you won't be able to buy so much as a grease gun in the automotive department. All guns and gun-related stuff...gone! All archery, hunting and fishing stuff...gone! All GI Joes, Hunter Dans and any other action figures who use guns... gone! They should be putting up the no CCW signs in all their stores shortly. I can't believe no one's heard of this. I read about it on the innernet, so it must be true.

I think this has gone beyond beating a dead horse.

Now we're all abusing a poor little bottle of white Elmer's Glue that thought it was likely to spend its days in a schoolchild's desk, adhering dry pasta to construction paper. And we're really laying into it.

I feel so dirty.

Now folks, be nice.

We hear so many of these that no one's interested any more.

Certain WalMarts are dumping their gun counters because they are not profitable enough to put up with the trouble of filling out paperwork and training staff to do it properly. Other WalMarts have thriving gun businesses.

That's all there is to it.

If you don't want your local WalMart to stop selling guns and ammo tell the GM there that you don't want them to quit selling guns and ammo.

In order to carry out the Chicom plan to disarm us all, some Walmart stores have stopped carrying guns.

Meanwhile, other Walmart stores continue to carry firearms in a craven, evil plot to drive your favorite local FFL out of business.

Overall, though, this one's been beat to death.
