My wife had a CCP but it was not reliable for her so she changed to a Ruger LC9S and then finalized on a Glock 43.
The CCP was very accurate and easy to shoot well. It was more reliable when I shot the pistol, though not 100%, IMO, it requires a firmer grip than similar pistols to be reliable. It was difficult to clean the gas cylinder bore and it was difficult to use a hard cleaning rod form the rear. A bore snake would be very handy. I did't like needing a tool to get the gun apart, but it wasn't a deal breaker either.
On our example the striker spring broke and jammed the slide. It was returned to Walther and we reported the FTE and FTF issues. Walther repaired the slide, said the gas tube wasn't clean enough and sent it back. Performance was not improved and my wife lost confidence in the pistol.
