Anyone have experience with older (1971 Vintage) Walther GSP pistols? in either 22lr or 32 S&W Long Wadcutter? Have a good friend wanting to get rid of one at a decent price but I know nothing about them. Looking for some advice on what to look for.
I get to shoot it in two weeks

Thank you

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walther_GSP  i didnt know they went that far back?

If you do a search on TargetTalk.org they have a bunch of posts about them.

Be aware that you run the risk of falling in love with it and the next thing you know, you'll be having custom grips made for it...and hunting for $8 boxes of ammo :p

I've fallen in love with the 32 Caliber family in revolvers already. I get to shoot the GSP (my buddy's 1971 model) and my new Single Seven on Superbowl Sunday (next day off work)
I want to see how my 32 Wadcutters do in better target pistols than my LCR.
