A friend says he's "cleaning out my safe queens" in order to buy a high end AR-15.

To me he's offered several things. One is a West German Walther PP in 7.65 Browning (.32 ACP). Very nice gun. I am always looking for a Colt 1903 and have some feelers out in that regard (older gentleman now passed on, widow friend of mom) so the caliber will, with luck, have some crossover for me.

Ammo seems to have a pretty good selection although not really a lot on the shelf. All things considered I want to use FMJ loaded to Euro specs. What are you .32 owners out there liking for ammo.

Intended use: I may carry it so I do want some capable ammo. Primary carry guns will remain S&W 642 .38spl+P and Glock 19 but it's nice to have options.

I had a surplus PP that would feed anything and everything. WWB, PPU, UMC, etc, etc, etc. I think a lot of people who carry .32/.380 carry hardball ammo in them.

Geco, RWS, Sellier and Bellot, Privi Partisan in that order.
Buy as much as you can afford when you find it.

I've a west German police trade in I bought at least 30 years ago and it feeds every thing I've put thru it. Still kicking myself for not buying 2. Paid $200 for it then.

Although many prefer the PPK to the PP, but I much prefer the PP.

If you REALLY want to feel the PP love, get a .22 version.
Finest little pistol I have ever owned! :)

Geco. Yes I am seeing that. Thanks. I will remember this list. Good to know this is a good pistol. I knew it was but your thoughts (everyone) are appreciated.
