Walther p-22

Shot my new Walther P-22 today. I had a value pack of Wally world Federal 22s, a bunch of targets and my wife reloading magazines. I was really going to shoot this thing a bunch. 4 Fails to feed in the first mag. Misfires, stove pipes and a few mis ques that don't even have names yet in about the next 10 mags. I'm sure I invented several new words that shouldn't be used on Sunday. Went to the range shop and bought a box of CCI's standard velocity and tried again. 100 rounds straight with out a hiccup. All of a sudden I like this little gun.

keep us updated on how that lil' shooter shoots.

I've read numerous posts about it, possibly the best looking .22 IMO. I considered getting a P22 and look forward to your results.

I don't have a P22 (yet), but I do have several other small .22 semi-autos, and I've noticed that they tend not to like the Federal bulk pack ammo sold at Walmart (frequent jams). I've had much better reliability with the cheap Remington ammo (also often sold at Walmart). Lately I've been buying the Remington Golden Bullet Value Packs" (525 rounds for around $9 at gun shows) and it works well in all my guns.

Welcome to THR Oldie

I have the same experiance with my P-22...it HATES the Federal Bulk Pack but eats CCI ov any flavor all day long without a hiccup. A very FUN little Pistol and my kids love it because it like a "real" gun. Meaning it's all "tacticool" looking and is DA/SA.

The P22 at 75% scale looks great along side my P99.
I have swapped in a 5" barrel, added a tac mount and red dot (no pics of that yet).
