I have a Walther P22; I read through the manual, but I don't recall it addressing this. (I will double check when I get home though.) I always only shot .22LR through it. Can it handle any other .22 varieties? Thanks.

edit: Okay, so I looked at my manual. All it says is to shoot high velocity rounds so the pistol will cycle. The manual title is for Walther P .22 L. R. So I guess my question is, can you shoot other .22 rounds in a .22 L. R. firearm?

Not sure why you would want to shoot longs or shorts through it since they are harder to find and more expensive when you do. But they probably will have feed problems due to shorter length, and they probably will not cycle the action reliably. And of course the 22 Mag. is too long to fit.
