Walther P99 .40 mag for a 9mm?

I tried it. I bought a 40cal mag for my P99 9mm. The mag held 14 rnds. I worked fine untill number 13. Rnd 13 always stovepiped. Once cleared rnd 14 feed fine. I traded the 4o mag for a neutered 9mm cause I didn't want to mess with it. I suppose you could play around with it and get it to work.
Also, my 40mag was one with an orange follower which I have since learned are not as desirable/reliable?? Maybe it was just the mag?

You can also modify Beretta 92 mags to work in both the 92 and P99. Check Walther Forums for more info.

In re: to th P99, I've read it in a couple of threads that it works. I've tried it in my USP, USPc & Berettas & it works there too.
