NOTE: The title should read "range trip". Could not edit my typo.

I had a chance to put 250 rounds through my new P99c 9mm today. Very nice gun. I took my Glock 26 along for a side-by-side comparison. Turns out I like both of them. The P99c "feels" smaller than the 26 even though their dimensions are really very close to one another. I really couldn't feel much difference in recoil, muzzle flip etc. I did find the P99c a bit more accurate even though I've been shooting the 26 for quite a while. The initial double action trigger pull is heavy but no worse than a revolver. I found it quite smooth. Single action pull is amazing.
I wish both of the P99c magazines had the finger extension. One of my magazines is flat based. I also bought couple of magazines from CDNN, which have flat bottoms. I'll have to find someone who sells the extensions.
The one and only problem I have with the Walther is the top of the backstrap (polymer beavertail?) left me with a nice blister at the base of my thumb. No matter how I held the gun I could not keep the frame from rubbing against my hand.
All in all I'm pleased with the gun.
