I bought the 9 4&5 inch and the 45 PPQ because of all the great reviews on them and raving over the trigger. Then I bought xd mod2 9 & 45 subcompacts for carry and found out I shot those better than my PPQs so sold them and bought the xd mod2 9 & 45 full size. For me I like the ergos and trigger better on the xd even though not as light. Never had a VP9, but did have a P30sk. Ergos were great, better than PPQ but didn’t like its DA trigger. With a striker trigger like VP9 has would probably do over the PPQ. Also, liked the flatness of the grips and texture better on xd mod2 and P30sk better than the rounder and more slippery in my opinion PPQ.
