I love my CZ carbine. Love it.

Understand one thing though. As it was designed to shoot Wolf, et al some of your brass reloads may not go off, and I believe that is what CZ is hinting at. I've certainly run into a nagging 2nd primer strike issue. It's my understanding CZ now offers an extended firing pin to help with the issue, and I plan to call them next week to get one.

Consider using GC/cast bullets. I've put thousands through mine and it's certainly cheaper than buying jacketed.

Oh and the more you use it the smoother the bolt works. It'll be a bit clunky at first. Also polish the extractor claw so you can single load easier. Yes...this Mauser lets you do that!

There is some of that, but it's almost OK now. I do have problem with magazine though. It's a pain to load. I have to tap it after 3 rounds in order to insert 4th and 5th because they start hanging. Then I have to tap it back otherwise I have problem with feeding ammo.

Today I was shooting 5 different kinds of factory ammo. Prvi round nose seems like a waste. My gun won't feed it AT ALL. Maybe if I chamber load, but it just doesn't feed it out of magazine. Similar issues with Wolf HP. Hornady SST and regular FMJ works good though

I don't think it was designed to shoot "Wolf". I think what they are saying is that it is optimized to shoot military ammo. Not saying it's about steel cases. It's about bullet size most likely (311 vs 308).

Light strikes is a problem many people have even with factory ammo. Seems like it is fixed in newer guns (mine is new). Google on CZ forums - there is some "fixes" related to back of your bolt.

If you seat your primers correctly there should be no problem from what I understand.
