Was this magazine taken from a Gen 4 Glock?

Hey guys, I recently purchased a Glock 34 (Gen 3) and decided to purchase an additional factory magazine for it. The price I bought it for wasn't too bad (under $30), but it did not arrive in the standard packaging that aftermarket Glock factory magazines come in.

By that I mean, it did not come in this packaging:

Instead, it was shipped in a cardboard box with just some paper for protection. Do y'all think that the company that I bought this magazine from took it from a Gen 4 Glock which they would have then sold with only 2 magazines? If so, then I am actually frustrated.... I wouldn't have given them my business if I new they were pulling that stunt...

Some dealers buy Glock mags in bulk that don't come in little plastic packages. I've bought several new Glock mags within the past few months, none of which came in a plastic package.

My LGS does this as they supply many LE departments. They often have brand new unpackaged mags in bins. However, i've never seen them come in an individual cardboard container.

Beatledog, that isn't the magazine that I have, I just got the picture from the internet to describe the plastic packaging that I thought factory magazines came in. The magazine that I have does in fact have the ambi-cuts.

Sorry for the confusion.

The cardboard box was just what it was put in for shipping purposes; not a factory packaging or anything.
