I just received a new receiver cover for a WASR in the mail from Apex. The new receiver cover finish looks very worn out and does not match the gun. I thought I was getting a new receiver cover, but this one has seen some serious use.
Should I get some high quality spray paint for it or should I get some duracoat? What's the easiest fix to re-finish a receiver cover?

Thanks Dreamcast270mhz. Just to clarify, I only want to re-finish the receiver cover part to make it more black. It doesn't have to match the rest of the gun exactly. It just needs to be darker. I'm going to leave the rest of the gun's finish the way it is. I bought another receiver cover because the one that came with the gun has a rail on top that I am not going to use, and I wanted the original receiver cover.

Okay, you could just do the black parkerizing method outlined in my link, otherwise duracoat is great. I just prefer to make everything match.
