Watching "Three Kings" Taurus judge looking gun

Im watching "Three Kings" from 1999 and there is a gun in there that looks a lot like the Taurus Judge/Public defender. It LOOKS to be a 45lc/.410 revolver.

Out of pure curiosity, how many pre "Judge" 45lc/.410 designs were there?

from the research ive done, this looks to be a "Thunder 5 Pistol"

The Thunder 5 is the one Taurus is trying to emulate. .

It's been around for a long, long time.

(it also appeared in the Max Payne movie)

interesting piece but i never understood a revolver with a safty

and the "JUDGE" was the one in the max payne movie not a thunder 5
