Geraldo just flings accusations and utter nonsense in all directions, hoping that maybe he will be right once a century or so. The only question I have is why a reasonably responsible (and conservative) news organization like Fox would have anything to do with him. Maybe they could find a way to lock him and Imus in the same padded cell and let them bother each other.

IIRC, the guy DOES have grounds to sue... Granted, Rivera didn't have malice involved, but there was reckless avarice. I think that'd be good enough.

I think the guy just got free Harvard tuition through a coupla doctorates. And a few gun club memberships too...

To Geraldos defense....uggg, I feel so dirty.... anyway, he did indicate from the beginning that they 'believed' that was the person and did cover his face and withhold his name. I'm guessing that's about the extent of his journalistic integrity and he would probably get off on lawsuit filied. Standard disclaimer: I am not a lawyer nor do I play one on TV.

Now let me go burn my hands after typing something in defense of Geraldo. Dirty, dirty, dirty...

Geraldo's lucky he only reported about it from the comfort of the studio. If he would have pulled up at Wayne's house w/ his weapon drawn and the cameras rolling, we might have seen the end of Geraldo...

(For those unaware, he has made a point of showing he's armed while on patrol with troops overseas, while divulging sensitive strategic information to the masses before, hence my comment)

I think I heard Wayne was 'exploring his options' so I doubt we've heard the end of this.
