My part of the country... No.E. GA, Blue Ridge Mountains... we only get 2 bucks and 10 does. Buckwise, one of those has to have 4pts 1" or longer on one side. The other buck, anything goes. I could've had my "anything goes" buck anytime up through the first week in December as that's the last I saw of these two nice two year olds... one was a 3pt and the other was a mid-size 5pt and they'd be good to keep in the gene pool... if they got sense, went nocturnal, and made it. I was hoping to see something 4Xsomething first anyway. Thing is, around here most of the neighborhood don't seem to get as many hunting days as I do, so they're more into shooting anything with visible antlers. If I'm gonna get my deer this year, I'll hafta go to some relatives in Alabama... season there goes to Jan.31.
