My brother downed this coastal deer with his Marlin 30-30 within Sonoma County, northern California. I hunted with him but took my bow because I was advised against bringing a rifle into California. My young forky was arrowed the next morning at a distance of about 15 yards.

Not everyone in northern California is a liberal with strange values.

Well of course they aren't. My wife's family lives in the Austin area and have told us about the Californians that are moving into the Austin and San Antonio areas at a rate of about 1,000 a day? Said they are tired of the liberal crap in California when they are still liberal compared to a lot of Texans lol. But still, 1,000 people a DAY?! WOW!

Ps, what year was this hunt?

Nice sized blacktails. From what I've heard, deer hunting in California is a low-percentage thing except on big ranches. Congratulations.
Your brother looks like me 40 years ago.

There are a lot of good people in northern Cali and a few in southern Cali. My niece lives in SoCal and is one of the Pelosi majority. :barf:
