Weatherby 3-9x44 scope (looking for info on it)

I'll be purchasing a new rifle and scope soon, but I still have a Weatherby Supreme scope that was given to me years ago. It is adjustable power from 3 to 9x and has a 44mm objective lense. That is all I know about this scope. Can anyone tell me how much this scope cost brand new? How does it compare to other scopes on the market today?
