Not many manufacturers are as stingy with information as Weatherby. It is also difficult to find sources of info on the XXII bolt guns.

I have a new one with about a hundred rounds through it. I am shooting from a bench and getting groups at 50 yds of about .5"-.6". This gun is supposed to be much more accurate than this, but I am unsure as to what to do to improve its performance. I did read that it is possible to lighten the pull (stock is about 2.5 lbs) by using a lighter trigger spring, however I have been unable to find a source for one, nor have I been able to find a schematic of the trigger that would allow me to install it correctly. I have also looked for Anschutz Model 64 trigger info because they manufacture the action for Weatherby, but have been unsuccesful there also.

If anyone can provide assistance or opinions, I would greatly appreciate the help.

Have you tried looking for a spring to fit an Anschutz 64 sporter trigger? Should be the same.
Edit: Sorry, should have read your post to the end. :(
