My son and I went to the MN Weapons Collector gun show this weekend and scored the following revolvers (ALL of them were high on our wish list and this was about the richest gun show for offerings of these type guns we ever attended!)

My S&W Model 19-3 4" (from 1969):

My son's S&W Model 586-M 4" from 1980 in nickel:

And my BIG COUP:
A 4" Colt Python in blue (from 1969) that came with Colt after-market 'combat' style grips, but I bought the correct period Colt factory grips today from a friend for only $20 and I show them on it here too!

'Combat' grips that came with the sale:

'Correct' grips that I bought today:

I feel a strange liking for the grips that came with your Python. If you wanna sell them off ...

Elric,

I intend to keep them, but if you access this site and scroll down about 3/4 of the way on the right side there is a set that looks a lot like mine (maybe a little lighter in color).

Mine have Colt medalions, but I don't know for sure where the former owner had obtained them (supposedly from an estate sale as the story went).
