Paul of Simmon's Gunsmithing was nice enough to invite me around and show me the place and a little of how things are done. Next trip I'll try to get more pictures to give a better picture of the size of the place but their shop is HUGE.
I'd say about a half acre of floor space including several milling machines, many lathes, a dozen work benches, drill presses galore, blasting room with multiple blasting cabinets, spraying room, bluing room, break room, store front, test firing lane, and more. Just massive.
Anyway here's a couple pictures that did turn out. The first is of Paul working on a leaf pattern camo job on what was a well worn 870. The second is of Paul's in-progress race gun project for himself in apparently some sort of camouflage for casinos
