After reading all the posts in the other thread and the recommendations I came to a conclusion. I am fascinated by the sigma. Dont know why, it might not be the best gun in some eyes, but I liked it. I got one for $279, and got the 2 extra Mag deal. The trigger pull is not an issue, and honestly I really like the trigger pull on it. I have gone to the range a few times with it and have put about 1000 rounds through it with no real issues. I haven't had any problems going from my CZ to the sigma and then back to the CZ. This gun goes well with my Baby eagle, CZ40, and 38 special. I just bought 1000 rounds last night and plan on shooting some this weekend.

For my first plastic gun I am happy, and who knows what I will buy next.:)

Congratulations. This isn't an original thought, but, "It ain't the gun, it's the gunner".

Is a good thing that you bought a gun you like, now go practice, a lot. Buy more ammo with the savings -

Don't worry, be happy, go shooting.:D

I don't really think the trigger on the Sigma is any worse than say a Glock with the 8lb "New York" trigger setup beyond the longer reset. I picked one up at last week's gun show to take advantage of the two free mag and free range bag offers, and to have a "beater" that I'm not afraid to leave in the car. I found it accurate on the steel plates but slower than most other guns because of the heavy trigger and long reset. But perfect function out of the box with a variety of FMJ, JHP, and lead reloads is nothing to sneeze at these days. It feels a lot better in my hand than a Glock, I found it comfortable to shoot. After hearing so much bad about these guns, I was pleasantly surprised.

i currently have 1000 rounds of ammo that I plan on shooting over the next few days.haha.

Cleaned and put back in the kitchen lock draw.:)

Thanks....it was the gun that I liked the fit in my hands the best.

Hey, after 1000 rounds & no apparent issues, sounds like you have a nice good that you got at a nice little deal too! Well done!
Forget about what you read in the internet, as long as your happy w/ your purchase, it's all good!

Great buy on that firearm! I think you will definitely be happy with it especially in a NATO caliber saving you more $$$. For your next firearm I would take a peek at a Kimber 1911 .45 for target shooting. As far as plastic guns I have glock23 and a Kel-Tec P3AT and personally I love them both.
