Marlin 795. it was 99.99 at dicks. Couldn't pass 'er up.
.22lr I think they had one in 17HM2 but I wanted cheap plinkin.
I didnt get it to shoot alot today, But did do some mag dumps at the berms.
super smooth shooter. and only weighs 4.5 lbs.
Holds 10 round magazine. And I will be using in the Forums next rimfire contest.
Heres a pic, OH let me mention it is a little gun, but has a non-kiddie sized stock. it fits me (a 14 year old 5'10" pretty well.)
And it is my new defence carbine. If you disagree. whatever. I think a quick dump of 40 grain ammo will stop a BG.
I have a .308, and 12 guage, But the lightweight, and manueverability makes this great. feels like an empty backpack when slung. and is right next to my bed full of HP velocitor 40gr's and federal target cast 40gr'. with a pattern.
Some to penetrate, some to blow up..
Heres a pic.

There's a Dicks about 3 miles from me, will have to go check this bad boy out tomorrow. Looks like a dandy rifle, JD, congrats!! beats shootin' the house up with .357's ! LOL:what:

Only issue now is, I was going to buy more .308 ammo, and am down to like 50 rds now. ahhaah. It wont be my HD gun forever. I don't have persuasive skills for my rents to fill out for a handgun yet. Dad has a CC permit, but not for me.
I want a G-17. but alot of monies.
Im going to put a light on it and some tech sites eventually.
It has plastic inside it as a bolt buffer, but feels solid, also plastic trigger assembly.
but solid, I took it down but didnt take any pictures.
Im gonna get Some CCI stingers sooner or later. do some ammo tests.

looks nice...accurate?
gah...im 18 and my parents wont let me get anymore rifles...well they technically cant stop me...but i live in their house :)

Congrats on a nice rifle, be sure and pick up a couple of spare mags, if you keep as long as I have kept a few, they will be handy and a lot cheaper now...for later on down the road.

Good luck!
