Subtitled : 82 y/o lady gets a new gun!

This lady is a hoot to say the least, never acted her age, and too old to start now.

She likes to shoot, and does so very well. She has her "powerful pistol" she totes all the time legally with a concealed carry permit.

Last time she was brought down to visit grandkids and great grandkids she went bonkers over a Marlin 60 with the "Woodtone" finish.
She likes to "plink" and does so often with her "way the heck over the hill gang".

Since she has "wagged kids all over creation when they were growing up" - she now has no problem being brought down , or even flying down.
She really liked the time she came in on a private single engine airplane.
"Felt right special and high dollar I did".

Kids are on Spring Break, and she is brought down. Naturally there is going to be some shooting, and serious showing how well the kids have improved since the last time she was down.

They presented her with her own Marlin 60 in "Woodtone" finish, and bulk packs of ammunition.

"Well I am not going to fix one of my home cooked meals, that healthy stuff will kill a person, I will buy the Pizza and all at the Pizza joint!"

82 years old and just giving a golf ball fits!
Having the best time wearing out a spinner target.
Having fun , making jokes and carrying on.

"Yes ma'am, you can shoot my Pink Crickett, but I get to shoot your new gun in return." one of the young ladies.

"Your ammunition or mine?" asked this 82 y/o lady
"Yours of course silly, you have all that new ammunition and have more than I do". young lady, snickering and all.
"You are turning out just fine, be sure to shoot up all the ammunition any boys you date have, you hear me?"
"Yes ma'am"
:p

Folks, do not forget our older folks when it comes to shooting.
They have a LOT to pass forward to future generations. Quality time with the older folks is what one does, we never know how long we have them, or anyone for that matter.
Just have fun guns, that take affordable ammunition, with reactive targets and make it fun!

You know adults will get embarrassed and kids will giggle, laugh, snort and carry on when a 82 year old women after shooting her new gun says :

Well! This is slicker than whale blubber!

:D

That gal rocks!
Grandpa taught me how to shoot. I'd be danged proud to return the favor to anyone that wants to learn.
