I found $1000 AK's, $350 cases of 7.62x39, and $300 SKS's. LOL! There were still some good prices in the reloading supplies, picked up a couple pounds of powder. Other than that, it was pretty much a highway robbery joke.

I will mention that the Kahr CW-40 that I handled, felt awesome in my hands, fits like a glove, one of these may be in my future.:)

I was at one today and again HIGH WAY ROBBERY!!!!!!! The only good thing was I was able to sell a couple guns I had laying around other than that I could've went to the gun store if I wanted to pay that linda money .

I was at the Indy 1500 today. No deals to be had. Lot's of good stuff to see. Paid $13 to get in which was a bummer. Saw a bunch of Saiga's of all sorts ($350ish) except 7.62x39...not one that I saw.

Looked like S&W Sigmas were selling like hotcakes...must have seen three or four guys buying one...$350is NIB. My buddy has one and really loves it. Had it about 8 weeks and has already put about 2K through it without a single issue...his girlfriend limp wristed one but that's it.

Saw about 100 M1 carbines...all $1000. They are selling for as much as Garands today.

Ammo...too expensive.

Guns shows are kind of fun but around here, they are becoming less and less the place to buy and just good places to shop.

One think I did not see was an FNP 45. I really want to see one of those. Oh well.

Went to the gun show in Pharr, Texas today. No bargains in guns, parts, accessories, or ammo that I could find.

Had some interesting conversations, picked up an Erik Frost wood-splitter double-handled knife, a chisel, a 3-inch switchblade for a one-handed friend of mine, and a hard candy on the way out to get my blood sugar back up.

Total cost: twenty bucks. I got my money's worth.

Went to the Savannah, GA show, and one table was selling complete AR lowers with A2 stocks for $565.00 :what:

I was happy with what I found. There was an individual selling all the accessories I needed for my M1 Carbine. :D I was pleasantly surprised.
