Haha I forget that!! Seriously! Just a stoopit retiree.

I’m done buying forever (I think) so no 10mm for me. Well maybe not. No, seriously, I have enough reloading supplies to last several years of shooting don’t want have to accumulate another caliber.
have you ever shot a Colt Delta Elite?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!!

Don’t! seriously DON’t

I've met some outstanding brick-n-mortar folk because they drove an hour or two to get to the show. And, some fascinating folk who just "work the circuit." There are good people out there.

Ditto. But, some of those guys are cool to talk to.
I met the author of a middling well-known book on military belts, who went to shows because their spouse insisted that they "sell some of that junk!!" And, occasionally one would, being at FMV, and "success" could be reported. So, spending $80 and a weekend at the AstroHall was worth it for the domestic tranquility.
There’s a book on military belts?

I enjoy talking to the preppers. It’s like seeing THR face-to-face! :)

Actually, several. Depending on which belt and which era. And whether it's just the belts, or as part of LBE as a whole.

Buying obscure military reference books used to be a good reason to go to shows. Amazon, et al, have ended that. Which is neither better nor worse, it just is.

Mind, if I see books at the gun show, I'll give them an eyeball, and generally say something to the vendor.. Books are heavy and a pain to haul into the hall and set up. And, I might find a title I don't already have. Maybe. (I have somewhere near 60' of nonfiction, sigh)

Wow!

Yeah used books are a tough business to be in. Old magazines too. Just so heavy is like you say a big problem.

I wish I didn’t, but I kept every car magazine I bought since I was in high school (1966) through first years out of college (very early 70s). Totally worthless, but I just can’t trash them.

Don’t know how old you are but get rid of your old books before your kids give them away after you’re gone.

Not a Colt - but all my Kimbers have been awesome.

I am sure a gun show will have them (in the spirit of the OP), prices maybe way high...but not much diffs to a Colt Delta Elite today, maybe even cheaper...
Stop it! One guy at last show I went to had 50 kimbers easy. I dared not touch even one lest I succumbed to temptation.

anybody else dislike the name Kimber??? Sound so much like Kimberly ! no joke, that’s why I won’t buy one. Now COLT with 4 clicks and ever bad “hush your mouth” ran one or two, Dejango had 4! COLT is a Mans name!

Did you guy remember when The Mosin Crate did gun shows??? that was like a baby in a candy store. They had the best display! and crate of Russian love with greasy everything
