Did anyone get a picture of that stupid ledge?
Deprimed and resized 2000 range pickups the other day, of course since I am looking for one I can't find one.....
It is easy to spot if the case is clean and you have one. Not a pic of one I have but

Google stepped 9mm brass,
the things are bad news.....

... I use a clear plastic jug, some lemon juice concentrate, a drop or two of dishwashing soap, and hot water in the jug with the brass. Screw the lid on and shake it. ...
Very close to the core of what I did for a couple of decades. I used citric acid powder instead of lemon juice ... and ... I like to decap prior to cleaning. Personal preference.

The process is simple and always did a decent job of cleaning my brass and making it look a bit more presentable. :)

Both

Wet for dirty brass, range brass, military LC brass.
Dry for tough up, and to remove lube post loading.

If I had to pick only one......wet.....I can wipe lube off ..... just convenient to tumble for 15 minutes while I do something else.

Washing machines work the best.

No media to mess with.
No tumbler to buy or store.
No airborne dust.
Quiet
Done in 30 minutes
Bonus: it really ticks-off the wife.

I've heard they are bad in blow-back actions, where the slide starts moving and extracting the case before the pressure has dropped. The case separates at the step. I know someone shooting a 9mm carbine that had that happen.

I like to clean rifle cases before running them into my sizing die just to remove any grit and the habit just lapped over into pistol cases. I use carbide sizing dies with those and grit shouldn’t damage the carbide but I still like to have things clean. No worries about plugged flash holes if you do decap first though.

Oh. I haven’t noticed any of those. I will have to watch for them. Thanks!
