rather than spending more $$$ on ammo, mags, and a new gun, I'm going to increase my support to the NRA and other gun right groups.

Now THAT makes more sense than anything!
 
....also, contributing to the NRA and like minded groups is more feasible for those that live in states where there is already gun restrictions (CA, NY, MA, etc.). In addition, not everyone on here has their own house to do reloading so buying thousands of rounds for the sake of having brass to reload (in case of a clamp down on ammo or whatever), doesn't do us non-homeowners any good...

just some thoughts....
 
I hate to buy anything before selling something else, so I'm kind of stuck.

I have been thinking about an M1A for quite some time though...

Maybe I need to re evaluate my "keepers" ;)
 
Will be going to Sportsmans Warehouse this evening. Ammo, mags, etc. while the prices are still not too bad.

a part of me thinks this panic buying is kind of silly.

i'm sure the manufacturers are having a ball right now keeping up with demand.

the other part of me ordered 10 stripped AR lower receivers and another 200 p-mags a few weeks ago in anticipation of a BHO victory.

another part of my brain made me send in several checks to NRA SATF and SAF recently.

my poor brain is being torn in so many directions right now.

the net result, however, is that I am broke. :cuss:

Ah, fear mongering to produce higher sales and higher prices. The capitalist in me is swelling with pride. The gun owner, not so much.

As far as what I'm going to get, I have a large order to place with Buffalo Bore, but that was going to happen regardless of the election.
 
I bought a pink Red Ryder Model 1998 air rifle for my five year old daughter. We'll see what she can do to aluminum cans this weekend.
Also bought three boxes of slugs for deer hunting later this month, because the World will not end after this election and I'll still need to eat deer. :)

I'm looking at getting a second AR-15, this time I'm looking at a 20" DPMS rifle. I already have a Bushmaster 16" and a WASR 10.
