I'm trying out different camo on my Savage 12fv on photoshop. I have one of those surp Swiss alpenflage camo bdu sets and find it to be a very verstatile camo, so I thought I'd try it out on the rifle. Think it looks cool or stupid? Lost my objectivity after looking at it for 3 hours! :D

well

it's an ok pattern, but not necessarily on your Savage. Try something else.

Tiger stripe, mossy oak, etc..........maybe even the German style flectar pattern if you like those German and Swiss colors.

Keep searching til something hits you. If you had to stare at it for 3 hours and you weren't blown away with the "I gotta have it" syndrome, then odds are you probably won't like it long term.

Just a thought.

Goo luck.

I think Flectar looks great on a rifle...

It's actually kinda funny (to me) that the latest, greatest hi-tech modern camo out there (CADPAT/MARPAT) really looks a lot like Flectarn camouflage.gif

Too much red.

Yes, I know the Swiss pattern has lots of red in it, but it doesn't go with your stainless.

Let's face it, you have a stainless gun, it's not gonna be a invisible sniper weapon.

Try a pattern with gray in it. Definitely darker greyish greens. Maybe even a urban cammo pattern.

Also what's wrong with woodland cammo?
