My favorite is a Ruger 10/22T with a custom ordered 17" Lothar Walther barrel and a 4-16X S2 Sightron scope. It very reliable and scary accurate. Shoots 3/8" - 1/2" groups at 50 yards depending on the ammo.

I haven't seen a 22 rifle I don't like. I've got nine now, I think. Five 10/22's, 1 Ruger 77/22 1 Marlin 39A, 1 Stevens 65, and the one that's actually "my favorite" is the one I shoot the least. It's my favorite because when I was a kid I wanted one but didn't get it until a year or so ago, and that's an Ithaca M-49, single-shot lever action.

Of the ones I shoot, I like the Ruger 77/22.

Im very partial to my CZ 452 Ultra Lux converted to a benchrest gun.
It would have been cheaper to just buy an Anchutz to begin with, But that wasn't my intention at the time. The UL shot so well i couldn't sell it to upgrade to another rifle.

Marlin 795 here too....I have a set of Tech-Sights on it and cant believe how accurate it shoots and it runs 100% on even bulk ammo. All for about $160(incl...sights) NIB :)

I couldn't decide yesterday and I can't decide this morning.

So, it's either the Marlin Mountie I've had for nearly 50 years, or the Cooper Custom Classic, or the Sako Finnfire Hunter with a 1.5 ounce Jewell trigger. It makes plinking fun and will adjust up to 4 pounds or so by changing a spring. What a great design.

T-bolts are good too, my uncle has an early one he refinished. He has my father's Savage 23AA too. Nice shooter, but no bluing left. He has a Nylon 76 lever action that's fun, but not extremely accurate. Maybe he'll leave it to me - I gave it to him. He gave me the Mountie. :) Oh, and the Winchester Model 72 he refinished. He loves his yard sale trades.

See, I'm hopeless when it comes to picking just one.

John

P.S. - Was I supposed to include handguns? Nuts, that's way too many choices. My father's S&W Model 17-4 with 8.375" barrel and a Burris 2x scope edges out my '72 Single-Six.

I have 4 22 rifles. A Winchester 67, JC Higgins mdl 31, Marlin 39 and a Ruger 10/22. My most accurate is the Winchester 67. I have had it over 60 years and it is still fun to shoot. It took me years to find a bolt for my Marlin after it broke in two, but it is back in shape and shooting good. I just put a Tapco stock and a nice scope on my 10/22 and it is shooting great. I haven't shot the JC Higgins too much, but that is about to change.

T-Bolts, over and over again I come back to them, new, old, good shape, beat up, I dont care, just give me a T-Bolt.

Suppressed GSG-5 SBR. .22s are about having fun to me and that is a gun that is just a lot of fun.

Marlin model 25 that was my first gun my dad got me when I was 11. Also have a Marlin/Glennfield 60 that is having extracting and ejecting problems right now that I really like. My wife bought me a Savage MkII a few years back for my birthday and I really like that rifle too.

50yrds, very windy.
Cheap but effective.

Having had almost no handling of other types, the 30's Savage inherited from my Grandfather is in really good condition.

Would like a Romanian military .22 training rifle.
