What 45 ACP should I buy?

If I had to choose one I would choose the SIG 220. All of the other Sigs that I have owned have been great guns. But I don't think you could go wrong with any of the three.

Make mine a 97B please!!!!

Got a New CZ 97B in lay away. Loves the CZ's. carry a full size CZ 75B everyday. Cannot wait to get the 97B out and play.:):):)

Let me know when you get it. The CZ is currently on the top of my list. I've never shot a CZ 75, but a friend of mine had a Tanfoglio. I remember it had some reliability issues.

I have a Sig 220 in 38 Super that is the most accurate handgun I own, and I own too many.

Look at the XD

Xdm 45

I have owned a Sig 220, and was not all that impressed. I have shot and shot and shot my XD Tactical 45 and loved it. Just sold it for a new XDM 45 5.25 competition model...can't wait until it gets here. The XD is such a sweet shooter, can't go wrong with SA.

I'd say get a Glock but, I'll second the CZ. I have a Tanfoglio full-size, polymer frame .45ACP and it is both accurate and reliable. I think there may be something to the theory that the slide riding within the frame rails make for an inherently accurate design.

I know this is the autoloader section but I wanna toss out "why not a tracker 455 or a smith wesson 625?" And as for an autoloader, go crazy and get a kriss vector in pistol format?

I only have five 45s

What is wrong with you? :what:

Kidding, of course. My favorite .45 that doesn't appear on your list is the 5" XD. Haven't tried the XDM, but the predecessor was an easy shooting gun I found to be very accurate. I was a fan of the longer barrel length for the extra weight and longer sight radius. Fine for OWB carry, but with the longer grip coming in to play it wasn't the best carry gun. I know that's not the primary goal of the gun you're looking for but thought it might be worth mentioning in case it might fill that role.

I suggest HK45. The action is smooth and the trigger is nice. The one I have is smoother and better trigger than the Sig P220 Carry I had. In addition the HK45 is more ergomatic than Sig or FN (holding FN takes time to adjust for some reason).

The HK is my most favorite 45 I've ever owned and/or fired. It's about as good as it gets.
Since you already have that covered...then I'd go with the Sig voters.

Keeps the bore lower in the hand for less muzzle flip and softer recoil. Results in more of a push than a snap.
