I've really thinned out my herd of 9mms and all I have left is my FN Hi Power. I've got a ton of reloads to shoot and would like to get another 9mm for fun shooting, but I'm at a loss for what to get. I've got a budget of $750 give or take.

My thoughts now are possibly locating a clean HK P7 PSP or maybe a Sig 226 Stainless Elite (not sure that's in my price range). I'd like something kind of unique, but not overly expensive. Not especially interested in polymer guns either. Thoughts or suggestions?

I forgot about the Spartan coming in 9mm. That's definitely a good contender considering my love of 1911s. Big fan of the FO front sight too. And that's a pretty good price. Thanks for the suggestion.

Any 1911 in 9mm.
Baby Eagle
Armalite AR-24
Caracal
Witness

I don't own any of those except a Witness Elite Match and a Witness Compact. They are both fine pistols in my opinion. The Eite Match is SAO with a real sweet trigger for a non-1911. The Compact is new but I'm liking it a lot already.

Another vote for the Witness Elite Match. Mine is my most accurate pistol. It basically takes the best of the Hi-Power and the SIG P210 and rolls it into one pistol that is hand fitted in Tanfoglio's custom shop. At less than $600 OTD it is the best kept secret in the firearms world.

Can a fella get a PSP in that price range?

Biased as I am, I gotta suggest CZ-75 or even a 9mm 1911 in case the caliber bug moves on to something else later.

Also, what other handguns will fit your price range and utilize your Hi Power mags?

Third Generation S&W pistols are in the unique category. Second Generation are a close second.

2nd and 3rd Gens have never really caught my eye. My FIL has a 4006? that I've shot and it's a good gun, just nothing that had a wow factor to me.

Never really looked into Witness before. I will do my due diligence and look into that model. Thanks.

I don't know if I can get a PSP in that price range or not. Thought I would ask though.

Interchangeability of mags is not really important for me. I'm willing to branch out.

I bought my P7 this past December/January from Gander Mountain for $599 with a box, a book, and 1 mag. Had to drop another $40 or so on the scraper. It's a sweet little gun.

I would whole heartedly suggest looking for a used CZ 75B in any configuration - compact, decocker, early style, whatever...best $4XX you can spend.

Since you said you sort of liked the S&W Model 39. I recently ran across a Model 39, factory chromed with aftermarket real Ivory grips. I wish I had taken a photo. Very pretty gun and very unique in my opinion. He claimed it had never been fired. The guy wanted $1,000 but who knows. PM me and I'll give you contact info.
