I had two pair of dress shoes to have new heals put on. Since moving to the "country" six years ago I hadn't bothered to look for a shoe repair place. Got out the old yellow pages and found one in Centrailia, MO. Alberts is the name and it was a gem of a find.

I took my open carry belt holster that had a some stitching break on the off chance he could fix that too. Not only could he fix it, but he had sturdy belts, custom fit to length for $26. Bought two, one in black one in brown. He told me he would buff out the holster and belt to match too.

Also had these neat black leather cell phone holders. Those little clippy things are a pain where I sit down. Almost lost the phone three times. No more, as this holder is just like a Buck knife belt holder but made for the cell phone. At $13 I thought that was a steel.

He also has a hugh line of boots too. I'm going to have him make a belt holder for my oversized folding deer knife too. Nice man and a pleasure to do buisness with.

No doubt. Does anyone else find it strange that a small plastic holder for a plastic cell phone that weighs only a couple of ounces is more uncomfortable than a holster with a pistol that weighs nearly 2 pounds?

I wonder where I could find a leather cell-phone holder around here.
