Greeting,

I have been using 5.0 gr of Unique for my 9mm LRN loads.
Did anybody of you got lucky with Clay powder precision and leading wise?
What load are you using?

What about the titegroup powder too?

Thank you

Clays is a better choice for lead than Titegroup. :)

Hodgdon shows 2.9 to 3.3 Grs Clays with a 125 Gr lead RN bullet. I would start at 3.1 myself, and work up. It's a mild load, even at max.

Titegroup works with 4.0 grains however I noticed sooty brass and light recoil, so I bumped up to 4.4 grains (which is FMJ max) and found it much more to my liking, and with sufficiently hard and properly sized bullets I have no leading problems.

Warning ,this info is above max recommendations, you could put your eye out. Always start ten percent under max and work up. Etc.
